The goal at Winstead Turf Farms, Inc. is to produce the highest quality turfgrass while providing superior service. Our customers include landscapers, building contractors, golf courses, nurseries and municipalities as well as homeowners.

Robert L. Winstead, Jr. (Bobby) is a graduate of Briarcrest Christian School and the University of Memphis. He is President of Winstead Turf Farms, Inc. and The Stockyard Horticultural Supply, Inc. . Bobby is a past President of the Midsouth Turfgrass Council and is currently serving as President of Turfgrass Producers International , an organization that represents Turfgrass Producers from around the globe. Bobby enjoys spending time with his wife, Kim, and his 2 children, Robert and Shelby. His hobbies include golf, hunting, trapshooting, and gun collecting.

We provide turf to several commercial customers. We pride ourselves in offering the right product for the job. Our rolled turf is ideal for large applications such as golf course fairways as well as baseball and football fields. The traditional slab sod is perfect for most jobs such as office buildings, apartment complexes and subdivisions.
