Welcome to Wittenberg University. As the new president of this nationally ranked institution, I can certainly identify with our prospective students, having recently completed a process similar to theirs – one that required me to figure out if Wittenberg was indeed the right fit for me.Although Wittenberg’s reputation as one of the finest liberal arts colleges in the country impressed me, I needed to be passionate about this place before I could call it home. I quickly discovered that passion during my first visit to campus. Wittenberg is an extraordinary university that draws students from around the world and across the nation. It is also a place that attracts top faculty members, who are not only great scholars and outstanding teachers, but who care deeply about our students and consistently engage them in the learning process.I have seen our faculty’s passion for teaching firsthand in our classrooms, where collaborative research opportunities and intense intellectual inquiry flourish and combine to ignite a lifelong love of learning in our students and challenge them in ways they never imagined.
