Danny Woods established Woods Sporting Goods on July 19, 1971. When Danny ran the shop it was a full service sporting goods store handling not only fishing bait tackle accessories, but hunting supplies, baseball and football equipment as well. Over the past 38 years many things have changed in the store including the address. Due to the hiway expansion we have been forced to move. We are now located just 2 blocks east on the south side of West South Omaha Bridge Rd. Today you can still count on the friendly knowledgeable service that the Woods family name is known for.
