As of February 1, 2007, work-space-solutions.com will have moved to our new facility in Marengo, Iowa . Marengo is a small community located in central Iowa just a few miles north of Interstate 80. It is the county seat for Iowa County. There are several reasons for our move. One of which is that is put us more centrally located to the majority of our Iowa customers (in the next few months we will be implementing a delivery program for our Iowa customers). Another reason for our move was to streamline our operations to be able to more quickly fill orders and keep on hand the inventory that is most ordered. Lastly we love the friendly small town atmosphere that is Marengo. Small towns in Iowa used to be bustling places; but as farms got larger, less people lived in rural areas and more and more business and families moved to the larger cities. In the past few years, though, many people have returned to their roots, and come home, finding small towns to be an excellent place to develop and run business that service the entire country. (A good example is eCreative Group , located in Independence, Iowa). We also are very happy to have the opportunity to move to a small community to work as well as live. If you're ever driving through Iowa on Interstate 80, we'd love to have you take EXIT 220 north to visit us at 303 Miller Street in Marengo.Established in Cedar Rapids, Iowa in 1974, Work-Space-Solutions, Incorporated, has grown from a local supplier of casters and storage equipment to a major distributor of material handling, industrial, and facility products throughout Iowa, North Eastern Illinois, and the Quad Cities; and now with the use of the internet we have been able to help people solve their work space challenges all over the United States.
