Founded in 1997, Overture is the pioneer of search marketing and PPC Advertising. In 2003 it was bought by Yahoo and subsequently branded as Yahoo Search Marketing (YSM).

Heal The Bay is an environmental nonprofit organization that was founded in 1985. Their mission is to make the coastal waters and watersheds of Southern California safe, healthy and clean. In August 2011, 40 Wpromote employees joined the effort by spending an afternoon cleaning the beaches of El Porto in Manhattan Beach. The beach clean up was a huge success for Wprovide, Wpromote’s philanthropic initiative.
