We hope the enclosed information will make setting your water system an easier task. Wright Tank is a full line tank manufacturer. We produce fuel and chemical storage tanks as well as fool grade stainless steel tanks for the food and cosmetic industries. All of our water tanks are constructed with first grade 10 and 12 gauge galvanized steel and are solid seaming welded by certified welders. Other methods of welding (stick welding) burn off wide bands of the protective galvanized coating. Our system allows us to use almost twice as heavy a gauge steel as the corrugation process. Your dollars are going towards the purchase of steel and technology rather than a labor intensified process (rivets & soldering). Galvanized tanks provide the longest life span due to their heavier weight and permanently adhered galvanized coating, with the least amount of maintenance since they never have to be painted to retain their water resistance and clean appearance. In addition, galvanized tanks offer the best resistance to weather conditions because they reflect both heat and cold. Wright tank also offers delivery service from San Diego to Paso Robles. Our trucks are equipped with cranes capable of setting a tank within 50 ° of the site or front. This service can add up to substantial savings in tractor or backhoe fees and give you more flexibility in locating your water system. The following steps should be taken prior to your delivery date: A. Prepare a level pad for the tank. Our truck is equipped with a crane and can set the tank on your specific location as long as there is an accessible road. B. The tank should be placed on a gravel base approximately 4" to 6" deep and 6" to 12" larger in diameter than the tank. C. Fill the square with pea gravel to provide aeration under the tank. We require a $400.00 deposit on all water tanks. The balance is payable on delivery by cashiers check or cash. Please include the following with your deposit: A. A rough sketch of the tank showing where you would like the fittings installed and what size they need to be. B. A map of directions for the driver showing the location of your property from the nearest freeway exit. C. A phone number where you can be reached to set up a delivery date and time.
