Wyntree Construction, Incorporated (WCI) was incorporated as a “C” corporation in April of 1988. The entire scope of projects for the first two years was to construct the Abbey Springs condominium project in Fontana. Bill Binn, President, and most of the in-house carpentry force previously worked together for Madsen Construction Company based in Madison. As the Abbey Springs project came to a close, Wyntree began focusing on building custom single family homes mostly for Chicago area vacation home buyers, drawing upon the more than 100 condominium customers they had previously built for. In 1989 Bill and his family moved to Lake Geneva from Madison, in order to be closer to his work, in addition to the desire to become a participant in the community that provides his livelihood. Starting in late 1992 Wyntree began building homes for local residents of the Lake Geneva area. This became the start of our name recognition and local referral process. It had been previously known that all of our customers were satisfied, only to tell their friends back in Chicago suburbs, people who most likely would not be building a home in the Lake Geneva area. As our customer base continued to switch to permanent residents we received more of our new customers as referrals from past customers. Wyntree developed into a “full service” custom home builder, meaning we not only maintain an office reachable during the entire business day, we take care of everything from design and preliminary pricing, to permits and utility extensions, to assisting our clients with cabinetry, and light fixture selections, to delivering a clean “ready to move-in” home as effortlessly for our clients as possible. All our people truly believe building a home can and should be a pleasurable experience. WYNTREE CONSTRUCTION, Incorporated MISSION STATEMENT The present purpose and continuing goal of Wyntree Construction, Incorporated is to build high-quality, successful, single-family residences at competitive prices. Wyntree has defined successful projects as those that are -- Wyntree will continue to use a team approach to building with its subcontractors. This relationship must naturally include mutual trust and dependability while accomplishing acceptable levels of profit. A relationship with a client may be considered successful if, at project completion, clients of their own free will recommend Wyntree Construction, Incorporated as a quality builder.
