Description
Wyoming Behavioral Institute is dedicated to excellence as a specialized mental health provider and resource center in Wyoming. We continue to develop and expand to meet the needs of our patients, their families and the community.
Mary Davis, PPC, has worked in inpatient and outpatient clinical settings in Wyoming and Missouri while obtaining bachelor's and master's degrees in social work. She was born and raised in Wyoming but went to Missouri to complete her master's degree because she found a program there that specializes in military social work. Mary has worked with adolescents on probation, college, students, battered women, and hospital patients in need of crisis stabilization in addition to working with veterans as an intern at Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans Affairs Hospital.
Cynthia Harmon graduated from the University of Wyoming with a bachelor's degree in middle school education with concentrations in language arts, social studies, and sciences. Cynthia has extensive experience in working with high risk and special populations, including gifted and talented students. Prior to becoming a teacher, she was a group home social worker and an early childhood specialist. Cynthia provides educational services for children and adolescents receiving acute care at WBI.
Tom Connor, licensed professional counselor, has a master's degree in counseling from Ball State University in Indiana and a bachelor's degree in psychology and sociology from Lake Erie College in Ohio. Prior to joining WBI in 2012, he worked as a counselor in Cheyenne, Gillette and Casper and Colorado. Tom has more than 28 years of experience in child, adolescent and adult mental health care in inpatient and outpatient settings. He currently works on our adult unit, providing inpatient assessment and treatment.
