Originally from Dallas, Texas, received her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from Pacific University and her B.S. from the University of Southern California. As a Certified Physician Assistant, she has wide training and experience in a variety of clinical rotations including Internal Medicine and Oncology. She has experience working in the field of Neurosurgery and Orthopedic Spine Surgery. Ms. Hockett has received a variety of honors and awards and is dedicated to community service. She joined the Internal Medicine Group in March of 2013.

The physicians at Internal Medicine Group believe that by providing general internal medicine services, our patients receive more consistent continuity of care. To achieve the goal of providing preventive care, and because the demand for primary care has risen, IMG created a division of general internal medicine in our practice to provide comprehensive health care for adults.

It is our mission to provide the highest quality, cost-effective primary and subspecialty medical care, and education to the people of southern Wyoming, western Nebraska, and northern Colorado.

Dr. Michael Miller has worked with the Internal Medicine Group since 2001. A graduate of the University of North Carolina, he completed an internship and residency in internal medicine with Vanderbilt University Affiliate Hospitals.

In 1953, Dr. David Flett opened his office in Cheyenne. He maintained a solo practice until 1961 when he was joined by Dr. Don Hunton. The practice continued to grow with the additions of Dr. Walt Schmid in 1968, Dr. Darryl Bindschadler in 1969, and Dr. Rick Davis in 1973. Internal Medicine Group was incorporated in 1973 and continued to grow in the community. In 1974, IMG built their first office on 20th Street. The building was expanded in 1990 with an addition that doubled the space available. Over the years, several physicians have joined the group bringing excellent credentials and a wide range of backgrounds. In 1992, Medicare granted approval to Wyoming Endoscopy Center, a freestanding outpatient ambulatory surgery center. As IMG continued to grow, it became apparent that additional space was needed. The search for additional space ended in February of 2001 when the decision was made to move into the medical office building attached to the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. The new facility offers patients better access to care and enables physicians to move easily between the office and the hospital.
