Ning and Ling Chi, husband and wife, started offering high quality Chinese brush painting supplies in the late 1970s in order to give Ning's students the best in everything as he introduced his family's four-generation tradition of Chinese brush painting to the public. As his teaching gained popularity and he became more established as an artist and a teacher, Oriental Art Supply (OAS) was born. Today, Ning is one of the most influential artist-teachers in the world.

OAS's collection of books is extensive. It includes books with a variety of subjects and styles. We work with publishers in China and the United States to provide our customers with quality instructional material, as well as beautiful and unique albums.
