The Levitt Library at York College is well-equipped to provide ample information services and resources to York College students, faculty, staff, and the community. Our mission is to provide library resources and services that support and enrich the curriculum as the College transforms lives through Christ centered education and equips students for lifelong service to God, family and society.

Maybe you thought you wanted to go to a big university - and now know it is not your ideal environment. Perhaps you went too far from home the first time - or maybe not far enough. Or you might have had this planned from the very beginning, and have been pursuing your degree at a community college. Whatever your reasons for transferring, we are pleased you are considering York College. At York College, we provide personal attention for every prospective student.

Dr. Steven W. Eckman, a 1971 YC graduate, began his service as the 20th president of York College in January 2009. President Eckman is well-versed in higher education and development and has a variety of experience in Christian colleges and universities. Prior to coming to York, he served as executive vice president at Ohio Valley University located near Parkersburg, West Virginia. Before that he was senior vice president of advancement, overseeing outreach functions of the college, including community, church and corporate relations, as well as fund raising. Dr.
