Rural living offers numerous benefits and advantages to the homeowner, not to mention the beautiful scenery, quiet living, and the kind of peace that can’t be found elsewhere. Although there are many dwellings to choose from, the log home remains one of the most popular types of housing. The authentic country feel and craftmanship is magnificent. Until recently, the only downside of owning a rural log home was lack of access to some modern conveniences, such as the internet. However, satellite internet has made services available to these rural areas at a considerable value.
