Description
Yreka Transfer Company has been providing a variety of services for the residents of Yreka & Northern Siskiyou County for approximately 116 years. Beginning in late 1890, the company has been in operation and owned by three families, the Christian Schock family, the George Strofeld family and beginning February 2, 1959, the Crovelle family, now into it's third generation.Yreka Transfer began providing service to Yreka by way of horse and wagon. Christian Schock started in the late 1800's hauling wood throughout the Yreka area until his death in 1922.
