Current Career Opportunities: We are growing and have openings for the following positions: Radiologist: Full or half-time. The position requires strong skills in MSK, Neuro, and Body imaging. The successful applicant will have had fellowship training in any of the above sub-specialties and will have to get up to speed quickly on all other aspects of MRI. He/she strives to broaden their knowledge and share it with peers; is meticulous, communicates clearly through organized and concise diagnostic reports and verbal communications with referring doctors and patients in timely manner. We have a variable daily caseload of 20 - 40 exams. Majority of the cases are MRI's (largely joints and spines); followed equally by general body CT and US. You will occasionally perform CT guided-arthrograms to follow MR or for corticosteroid injections. You will also do a few US-guided thyroid FNA/biopsies. We read a few digital X-rays. No Mammography. We are fully digital, utilizing a robust PACS/RIS/VR. Office is open Monday - Friday; you will generally work 4 days a week, 8:45 am to 5:45 pm. Schedule will allow many 3 day weekends, in addition to regular vacation time. NO CALL, NO WEEKENDS, NO HOLIDAYS, NO HOSPITAL. Medical Biller: Responsible for billing patients and insurance companies (Medicare, MediCal and other third party payers): CPT and ICD Coding, Posting charges, posting payments; following up accounts receivable and initiating collection calls and reminders; aging reports; assist with checking pre-authorizations and other front office duties. Experience in billing software or front office would be very helpful. Full-time. CT Technologist: Part-time or per diem positions available. We have a Toshiba 16 slice CT scanner. You will perform routine outpatient CT and CTA procedures. 1-3 years experience is preferred. ARRT and CT certification or eligibility is required.
