YX & Associates, Inc. was established in 1998 under Ms. Xu’s leadership. Since then, YX & Associate, Inc. has worked with Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento Office; California Boating and Waterway Department; US Maritime, Department of Transportation; Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA); Transportation Authority of County of Los Angeles (MTA); City of Oakland, and other public agencies. YXA has also teamed up with several prime companies for design projects.

Ms. Yvette Q. Xu is the founder and president of YX & Associates, Inc. She has 20 years of experience in the management, planning, design and construction of civil projects. She has a broad and solid educational background (civil, transportation and bridge structure engineering), and rich design experience with good computer skills. She is a hands-on project manager and chief designer. Her distinguished qualifications include lead engineer for major highway, LRT, BRT projects; transit center design and construction; waterway facility design; and flood control facility planning and design.
