In addition to the Zelle Hofmann Diversity In Law Scholarship, the firm will continue (and increase) its involvement with the MCCA’s Lloyd M. Johnson, Jr. Scholarship. The Minority Corporate Counsel Association was founded in 1997 to advocate for the expanded hiring, retention, and promotion of minority attorneys in corporate law departments and the law firms that serve them. The MCCA scholarship program helps law students meet financial needs associated with law school and also exposes them to a group of leaders who can help to mentor and guide their early entry into the profession.

Our attorneys offer extensive trial experience in state and federal courts and regularly represent clients in arbitrations and other alternative dispute resolution proceedings. A substantial portion of our cases involve class actions and/or multi-district litigation. Our clients range from large Fortune 100 corporations to smaller businesses and individuals.

ZY & Partners has a rich history of representing both Chinese and Western clients. It offers business consultation on a wide variety of matters, particularly to clients seeking to commence operations in China. ZY & Partners also has extensive experience in representing Chinese clients, and Western clients such as Kellogg Company, The Gap and The Walt Disney Company, before Chinese courts and administrative agencies.

Zelle Hofmann has extensive experience in resolving disputes by obtaining settlements through mediation or representing clients in formal arbitrations. Several of our partners also have served as arbitrators in insurance or reinsurance disputes or acted as mediators in assisting parties to reach reasonable settlements in matters in which our firm has no interest.
