First, we love Indian weddings. The people, the culture, the traditions and colors. There is nothing else like them in all the world. Second, our entire company is built on relationships. Many of our couples and their families become life long friends. We have open invitations with many of our past clients when we travel. We love that. It is exactly what our business is all about. Third, experience is the key. There is just too much going on at an Indian wedding to leave anything to chance. We have experience in weddings from many different regions and Hindu traditions of India as well as Sikh weddings. It’s all about being in the right place at the right time. Fourth, its about offering all of the services necessary to be able to record each event. With teams that can range from just 2 photographers all the way to 4 photographers and 4 videographers, we can cover an event of any size anywhere in the world. We also offer engagement and fashion/black tie sessions anywhere you choose. Many of our couples book engagement sessions or engagement parties in locations around the US that have special meaning to them.

Question: Where are you located? Answer: ZMEDIA is located in Huron, Ohio near Cedar Point. We serve couples all over Ohio including Cleveland, Akron, Canton, Toledo, Columbus and Cincinnati. We also provide services for destination weddings. Indian wedding photography is a specialty. Consultations are done at a location that is convenient for you and for your photographer. Out of town clients can set up phone/internet/Skype meetings.

Hire a professional. This may seem like a simple tip, but you want the best photography that fits within your budget. A good target figure is 8% – 10% of your total wedding expenditures. Photography prices vary wildly. In many cases, you simply get what you pay for. If you want phenomenal photography, you are going to pay more. Do your research and meet in person (if possible) or speak via phone with at least 3 photographers. Don’t overdo it either. We’ve had clients review 20+ photographers only to book us. Don’t drive yourself crazy. Pay particular attention to referrals from friends and family members. Nearly 70% of our business comes from past client referrals. Its very simple to set up a slick website and have a few good images. Its something completely different to have the experience and breadth of work to produce consistently good results. The more experience and talent a photographer has, the more in-demand and expensive they are going to be. Its simple supply and demand. Since a photographer only has so many weekends a year they can work and so many weddings they can do, they are going to be more expensive if they are popular. Don’t skimp.
