Mike Goodman founded Z Networks in 2001 and continues to serve as chief executive officer and chairman of the board. Under his leadership, Z Networks has grown from a consulting firm specializing in technical field support to a leading firm offering a full catalogue of technology support and services. In addition to setting corporate direction, Mike oversees daily operations and plays an active role with potential customers and partners. Goodman’s reputation as an industry pioneer and visionary is the result of his extensive background in technology professional services. His career began on the assembly line at computer manufacturer Gateway. His love of technology, drive to succeed, and knowledge of the business from the ground up led to many different roles and projects. Mike’s most notable accomplishment at Gateway was leading the design and implementation of infrastructure that delivered software to assembled computers through an internal distribution network which eliminated the need to install software manually on each machine.
