ZEUS Scientific is a privately held corporation that was founded in 1976 by Dr. Donald R. Tourville. The company began with producing IFA (immunofluorescence assay) test systems and continues to provide these today, around the globe. The ZEUS brand in the autoimmune disease IFA diagnostic market continues to be recognized to this day for quality and performance. The success of ZEUS Scientific was acknowledged by the U.S. Department of Commerce and the Small Business Administration in May 1984 when Dr. Tourville received two nationally acclaimed awards.

Chief Executive Officer ZEUS Scientific Scott Tourville, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Owner of ZEUS Scientific, has been with the company for 25 years. Since acquiring the company with his brother John in 1998, Scott has focused on transforming ZEUS into an industry leading in vitro diagnostics company. In 2000, ZEUS Scientific and Luminex Corporation announced a strategic partnership to develop clinical diagnostic assay kits on the Luminex open platform system, branded the AtheNA Multi-Lyte®.

ZEUS Scientific is dedicated to delivering the highest quality products to the diagnostic marketplace. ZEUS Scientific conforms to the applicable regulatory and international standards for in vitro diagnostic device manufacturers. The company has obtained over 130 product clearances from the FDA and the majority of the products also carry CE marking.

Chief Operating Officer ZEUS Scientific John Tourville, Chief Operating Officer and Co-Owner of ZEUS Scientific, oversees the production and supply chain management for all operational activities in the company. John is also focused on current and new business development opportunities and projects for ZEUS Scientific. With over 24 years experience of in vitro diagnostic immunoassays manufacturing John has directed the implementation of process and quality improvement initiatives to ensure ZEUS Scientific is a premier provider of the highest quality products to the diagnostic marketplace.
