The first six years saw Gary Antonoff and his father develop retail and multi-family properties in Denver, Boston, Minneapolis, Washington, D.C., Kansas City, Detroit, San Leandro and San Jose. 1968 brought the advent of syndication and brokerage, substantially widening the family ’s business base and sphere of influence. Until 1990 the family, operating as Antonoff & Co., developed and redeveloped neighborhood shopping centers and build-to-suit projects, mostly along the Front Range and in the District of Columbia. Antonoff Miller Properties was formed in 1990 through the merger of Antonoff & Company and Beardsley Miller Properties. The merged entity employed more than 200 people and engaged in the full range of commercial real estate activities including development, retail leasing and investment sales, and specialized consulting services to owners and tenants. Doug Antonoff joined Antonoff Miller in 1991, after having practiced law at one of Denver ’s leading firms for five years. The 1990 ’s also brought Gary Antonoff ’s departure from Antonoff Miller and the formation of Antonoff & Company Brokerage, Incorporated with Doug Antonoff and Jeffrey Hirschfeld. The then new venture specialized in all aspects of retail brokerage: tenant and landlord representation as well as the sale of retail land and investment properties. Doug, doing business as Saturn Development Corp. continued the company ’s development activities, notably developing a 300-acre manufactured housing community in the northeast part of the Denver metro area. Today, Antonoff & Company Brokerage, Incorporated grows, by design, at a measured pace. Steve Sebern and Gene Stone joined the firm in 2005, each broker bringing over 30 years of retail leasing experience. Bill Duarte was hired in 2007 to add twelve years of investment sales experience and to enhance Antonoff & Company Brokerage, Incorporated ’s sales specialization. Tom DiGregorio came on board in 2007, adding another twenty plus years of experience working with landlords and tenants. Elliott Dunn joined the leasing team in 2008 after having spent a year with the firm as an intern. Also in 2008, Marcus Notheisen joined the investment team.
