Mr. Shoemaker is bit-x-bit’s E-Discovery and Database Analyst. Mr. Shoemaker has more than five years of experience in handling collection, processing and managing large electronic discovery projects on an enterprise wide basis, working with inside and outside counsel. Prior to joining bit-x-bit, Mr. Shoemaker worked for Bayer Business and Technology Services as an IT Analyst. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh in April 2008, with concentrations in Management Information Systems and Marketing. Mr.
Mr. Knizner is bit-x-bit’s Computer Forensics Technician and Analyst. He has more than six years of experience in the fields of information security and computer forensics. Prior to joining bit-x-bit, Mr. Knizner worked for the Ohio State Highway Patrol where he analyzed evidence for criminal investigations including drug trafficking, identity theft and financial fraud, forgery and network intrusions. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Forensics from Waynesburg University in 2007. Mr.
Daniel J. Vogel joins bit-x-bit as E-Discovery Process Manager, bringing with him more than nine years of experience in electronic discovery, collection processing, review and production. Mr. Vogel will head bit-x-bit’s team in processing, searching, and producing ESI, and also be responsible for managing Sfile, bit-x-bit’s hosted e-discovery review platform.
Mr. Vogel has over nine years of experience in electronic discovery, including data collection, processing, review and production. Mr. Vogel is a Relativity Certified Administrator, distinguishing bit-x-bit as the only Relativity Consulting Partner with a Relativity Certified Administrator in the Pittsburgh region. Prior to joining bit-x-bit, he was the Litigation Technology Specialist for Cohen & Grigsby, P.C., where he directed all aspects of the firm’s electronic discovery department’s work in processing, culling, searching and producing ESI.
