Mike joined deCarta in 2005 and has over 26 years of successful sales experience in the software and Internet industries - 15 of those at the Executive level - leading worldwide sales and distribution channels. Prior to joining deCarta, Mike was Vice President of Sales for Digital Chocolate, a leading developer of mobile applications and games. Mike was Vice President of Worldwide Sales with HearMe, a developer of VOIP and Internet Infrastructure software technology where he led the company's worldwide sales team to successive quarters of revenue growth and to a successful IPO.

We have an immediate need for two new members for our Technical Support Team. These positions report to the Vice President of Engineering and will be based at our Downtown San Jose headquarters. deCarta’s Support Engineers are our customers advocates and thus the voice of our customers within our organization whose goal is to ensure that no customer problem or request falls through the cracks or remains unaddressed.

Xplorer leverages deCarta’s fifteen years of experience to provide more consistent, accurate routes than other navigation applications on the market. It is designed to take advantage of the location and resources of the modern smartphone Operating Systems and is compatible with both official and forked versions of Android. An iOS version will be available in the second half of 2013. Xplorer leverages deCarta’s proven server platform to provide fast address/POI lookup and re-routing with highly accurate voice and map guidance.

Prior to Norwest, Jeff served as President, COO and board member of DoveBid, Inc., a privately held business auction firm, which expanded during his tenure via internal growth and acquisition from a $10M revenue run rate to a $120M revenue run rate with 400 employees. From 1990 to 1999, Jeff was co-founder, President, CEO and Board member of Edify Corporation, a venture backed enterprise software company focused on voice and internet e-commerce platforms and applications.
