Dolphin maintains sales offices in Los Angeles, Oslo, London, Hanover and Paris and is represented in the U.S. and internationally by resellers, distributors and integrators.The engineering group that founded Dolphin in 1992 started development of the Dolphin SCI technology in 1988 while working for Norsk Data. The development of a breakthrough high-speed interconnect was accomplished in coordination with the IEEE SCI standardization group. Dolphin began marketing SCI products in 1991, the same year SCI was adopted as an IEEE standard.
