Headquartered in Sanford, North Carolina, Frontier Spinning Mills, Inc. was founded in 1996 by a group of managing partners with a desire to build a high quality yarn manufacturing company. While Frontier is a relatively young company in terms of textile firms, the management team of Frontier Spinning has many years of experience in the yarn manufacturing field.

We are committed to providing the quality products that our customers demand long-term. Capital investment and re-equipping with state-of-the-art processing equipment is central to our strategy to provide yarn products that consistently meet our customers' quality and value expectations. Frontier invests in on-line and real-time quality control, monitoring, and assurance systems that are integral to consistency of product quality.

We provide backing yarns using 2.25 denier polyester fibers designed specifically for brushing or napping operations. Use of this fiber enables our customers to get a high quality pile with one pass napping.
