Taylor’s Design Experience spans all phases of product development from discovery and strategy phases to designing and prototyping to design execution, QA and launch phases. David began his design career working for prominent design studios such as Vanderbyl Design before establishing himself at Netscape Communications in 1997. Starting as a staff designer and working his way to Design Director, David spent nearly six years at Netscape and its subsequent acquirer, America Online developing user interfaces for some of the most widely used products and services in the world. Now on his own, David designs both consumer and enterprise products. He has participated in successfully launching dozens of software products and performed extensive R&D work ranging from high density laser scanner software to a biological pathway research application to runtime SOA monitoring and analysis tools. Clients include startups and large, established corporations alike, be they public or private, in the USA or abroad. David's background in languages, business and design contributes to his multidisciplinary approach. He holds degrees from the California College of Arts and Crafts (BFA, 1996), Washington University in St. Louis (BA, French) and the European School of Management (Diplôme, ESCP-EAP MBA Programme).
