Hometown Countryside Connection (HCC) is a community information network designed by librarians in the Alliance Library System and by Infobahn Outfitters . Approximately 50 libraries in communities in central and western Illinois have participated in HCC. HCC was made possible by grants from the Illinois State Library , a division of the Office of Secretary of State . Dedicated to Nancy Zebrun, former ALS consultant and one of the project creators.
