I have many passions when it comes to being the CEO, but I would say one of my passions is creating pure SaaS solutions. I am a firm believer that not all SaaS is created equal. If SaaS is done right, all customers are on the same platform, same release, same code base -- never customizing, and never supporting local installation. At iCIMS, we develop all of our products on a single code structure, which enables us to provide all customers with the most innovative and up-to-date features through routine upgrades.

I would have to say that my professional passion is striving for excellence in all that we provide to our customers. At iCIMS, I'm part of a culture that develops SaaS products that are designed to make the lives of recruiters, hiring managers, employees, and candidates easier and more flexible.

Sandeep Chand joined iCIMS in 2011. As the Senior Director of R&D, he oversees the research, development, and delivery of iCIMS' innovative and scalable Talent Platform to its customers. With over 15 years of experience in both startups and established businesses, Sandeep's experience encompasses technology and product development, strategic planning and marketing – a majority of which has been in SaaS-based platforms.

Prior to joining iCIMS, I held several key executive titles at Vonage, a leading provider of communications services. My roles included Senior Director of Business Development, International Markets and Senior Director of Customer Care Global Operations. I bring 17 years of experience in global customer operations, global channel and business development, product management, operations and strategic planning at an executive level.

I have worked in corporate financial and accounting for over 20 years. In addition to my 10 years at RiskMetrics, the bulk of my work experience was at AIG Insurance and Chase Manhattan Bank.
