311 posted huge numbers at retail this week with their 11 th studio album Stereolithic which was released last week on their own 311 Records label via INgrooves Music Group distribution with the Company’s INresidence Artist Services providing marketing services. The band sold more than 40,000 units in the album’s first week of release, which put the band at #6 on Soundscan overall, making it the #1 Rock album and #1 Independent album in the country. The showing marked 311’s 9 th consecutive Top 10 album debut.
