About Kaivo Kaivo has been educating the public and private sector on the advantages of open, customer-controlled computing environments since 1984. Today, our core staff focuses on building Linux and Open Source technology solutions for government, non-profit and corporate clients. Since our inception, we have believed that the widespread adoption of open protocols and non-proprietary technologies results in higher-quality products and a greater degree of customer satisfaction.From 1984 to 1999, our offerings included tens of thousands of hours of instructor-led education and a wide range of custom applications for Fortune 500 clients, including major government and corporate entities, the US Army (12 different applications), Time Warner Cable, American Airlines, and others. For the last three years our staff has been diligently engaged in finding, creating and customizing Open Source-based technology solutions primarily for non-profits and other small businesses. Principals Since 2002, Kaivo Software has been owned and managed by Ray Agostinelli and Paul Agostinelli in support of the ongoing mission to offer high quality software products and services using Open Source technologies.
