Omohundro Company designs and manufactures radomes utilizing solid laminate, monolithic, 2 ply sandwich, A-sandwich, C-sandwich ...
We are located in Port Orchard, WA about 45 minutes from Sea-Tac Airport (SEA). Our facility is over 40,000 square feet and is specifically organized to design, manufacture and test our specialized products.
Omohundro Company designs, manufactures, and tests composite hardware for the aerospace and defense industries. Our specialty is composite hardware that supports the function of communication systems. These products include radomes, reflectors, and polarizers. We also manufacture aircraft ducting. Omohundro Company has developed hundreds of different parts for a broad range of customers.
Omohundro Company designs, tools, manufactures and tests radomes utilizing solid laminate, monolithic, 2 ply sandwich, A-sandwich, C-sandwich and multi layer constructions. Our radomes are designed for optimal RF and environmental performance through careful selection of materials during the design phase. We are familiar with a broad range of resin systems, fabric/ fibers, core materials and coatings. In addition to traditional cores, we have also developed a unique core material (Cerez) which has enabled us to build monolithic and 2 ply sandwich radomes.
Omohundro Company designs, tools and manufactures reflectors to meet customer specifications up to KA Band. Specialized conductive fibers or coatings are used to maximize the energy reflectivity and minimize distortion of the reflected beam. The accuracy of the contour and surface finish are critical to performance. Typically we use laser inspection to measure and verify surface tolerance is uniform. We have used this method to inspect reflectors up to 20' in diameter.
