A-Ga-Ming Golf Resort would like to welcome its new guests visiting our website for the first time as well as our returning friends. We have been busy adding many new amenities to provide a more comprehensive and satisfying experience for our members and guests. Facilities at A-Ga-Ming have steadily grown over the years since inception in the early 1970's. Starting as a nine hole facility it wasn't until 1986 that growth began in earnest when former owner Bill Siebenthaller and his close friend 1954 PGA Champion Chick Harbert pooled their talents to take the course to the next level. By re-routing the original nine hole layout and adding nine more, they created a challenging golf course layout that boasted the most spectacular views in northern Michigan. Also, at that time the original clubhouse was erected on one of the highest points of the property affording unforgettable views of the golf course, Torch Lake and the surrounding countryside. Many things stayed much the same for the next decade until the property was purchased by its current ownership which brought new found energy and enthusiasm to the club. Under careful stewardship of partners Larry Lavely and Mike Brown, A-Ga-Ming has experienced quantum leaps in conditioning and amenities while providing a level of personal attention that is a direct result of committed family ownership.
