Our offices are located in Northern Virginia, just outside of Old Town Alexandria and minutes away from the US Patent Office facilities near Eisenhower Avenue. Luis David Albright has over 25 years of experience in the Intellectual Property field and specializes in Validity, Infringement and Novelty Searches. Mr. Albright is the son of Penrose Lucas Albright of the firm Mason Mason & Albright, a well known Patent Firm which has been in existence since before the Civil War. While studying at the George Washington University in Washington, DC, Mr. Albright learned the Intellectual Property business by working as a paralegal for Mason Mason & Albright under the tutelage of his father, the senior partner. In 1980, he took a Patent & Trademark search position with Pravel, Gambrell, Hewitt, Kimball & Krieger of Houston, TX in their Washington DC Office. In 1981 he left the firm and started his first IP company, Albright & Associates, soon to become Albright & Associates Ltd., a prestigious IP services company that would be a major player in the field for over 15 years. By creating his new company, Albright IP, Mr. Albright is seeking to consolidate his experience and personal resources while extending his company's professional presence even further within the exploding IP industry.
