• Fifteen years of progressively responsible experience including experience in product marketing; channel management and management experience directing a strategic product marketing function. Significant experience in a functional discipline other than marketing is a plus.

Our client a global, East Coast based, sporting goods and outdoor products producer seeks a Vice President of Product Development. The Vice President of Product Development is responsible for leading the Product Development Team on all matters related to the product design cycle including research and development, design, process improvement, problem solving, testing, procedures, internal correspondence and documentation. The VP Product Development is responsible for setting and implementing the product design strategy.

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and minimum 10 years related experience required - CAD experience in two-dimensional drafting and three-dimensional solid design - Conventional drafting experience helpful (ink on mylar film). - Experience with automatic pistol design and function - Experience in small arms design and function. Knowledge of small arms design and manufacturing methods.
