Mr. Blumenthal states our polls failed to predict the margin of victory and because of that, our polls did not predict the actual candidate results. That is not true. Looking at the 22 Democratic primary races we polled where it was essentially a two-person race between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama (CA, CT, DE, IL, IN, KY, MD, MS, MO, MT, NC, OH, OR, PA, RI, SD, TN, TX, VT, VA, WV, and WS), our final polls, on average, were 0.9 percentage points high for Clinton and 5.1 percentage points low for Obama without taking into consideration the undecided vote.
