Restoring old photographs is a very popular way to add a professional touch to any of your genealogy charts or reports. Including photos in your genealogy charts and reports raises the interest level that even the most casual observer will have in your family's genealogy. Unfortunately, old photos are often in poor condition, or contain scratches and blemishes that should be removed. We can scan your original photo or work from an existing digital image in JPEG, GIF, BMP or TIFF format. We can provide exactly the right photo editing needed for any type of project. Our services can include any or all of the following procedures: -Resizing to fit your exact requirements, or to keep each photo the same perspective as others in your family's collection. -Removing dust, scratches or blemishes from the scanned image. We do not make changes to your original photos. The changes are made only in the digital images that you will be using in your genealogy charts and reports. -Creating a standardized oval appearance which looks very nice, as in the 1883 photo example of Dr. Julian Murray on the right and below. -Removing the background from an image so only the individual is featured.
