Description

ATCorp's business expanded from writing and running seminars to providing systems engineering services and consulting on the design and construction of computer networks. One of ATCorp's first major contracts came from the Volpe Center in Boston, which was leading the Federal Aviation Administration's efforts to develop next generation traffic control systems at the nation's airports. ATCorp has now performed more than 50 projects for the FAA, ranging from terminal and tower automation to runway safety.

Mr. Colligan manages Architecture Technology Corporation’s systems engineering solutions business. Bill has over 30 years of technical and managerial experience in systems analysis, engineering, and integration of air traffic management and defense programs. He has managed teams of engineers, scientists, and IT professionals performing systems analysis, systems engineering, software development and IT services for airlines, airports, ANSPs, and Government Agencies for over 20 years. He has focused on corporate growth strategies and execution for over ten years.

Architecture Technology Corporation was founded in 1981 to provide publications, seminars and consulting to the then new Local Area Network industry. Many of ATCorp's core people—coming from industry leaders such as Sperry, Honeywell, and Lockheed—were pioneers in the application of LAN technology and hold several key patents in distributed systems technology.

In 1999, ATCorp purchased Odyssey Research Associates in Ithaca, NY, which now operates as the wholly owned subsidiary ATC-NY. Odyssey was founded in 1982 by a group of mathematicians and computational linguists. Since its founding, ATC-NY has conducted advanced research and development in computer security, information management and reliable systems, and has a growing systems engineering group.

Dr. Ramanujan joined ATCorp in 1989 as a senior member of the technical staff and has pursued research in computer network defense, network architecture, and survivable computing systems. He has over 25 years of experience in leading and contributing to technology development efforts ranging from concept development to full-scale system implementation, having served as the Principal Investigator of several research projects sponsored by agencies such as DARPA, the US Army, the U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Coast Guard, NSF, and NASA.
