Artafact's mission is to help product companies engage directly with their markets in real time. Founded in 2002, Artafact provides online focus group software. Artafact represents the second generation of online focus group software, overcoming the technology limitations of early market entries. The product is available either as a licensed product or as part of a full-service solution. Artafact counts among its clients a number of leading research firms. In 2005, Artafact created a hybrid research methodology that improves the results of focus group research while reducing costs substantially. Artafact founder and president Linda Stegeman is an experienced leader in marketing, strategy, positioning, and new product development. Her passion is generating customer value. She understands the needs of both business and consumer markets, having successfully launched products and services for Nestle USA, Lucent Technologies, Ameritech, Gerber Products and ChemConnect. Linda has served on the Board of the University of Michigan School of Business, was a final-round judge for the National EFFIE Advertising Awards in New York, and represented Lucent as keynote presenter for the 1998 Global Information Infrastructure Awards. In 1996 Linda was honored with the 1996 TWINN (Technology Women In Industry) award.
