Description

For over 20 years, Aspen has been providing corridor planning and analysis services for utility and infrastructure projects. Corridor planning and analysis involves identifying potential oppor ­tunities for the alignment of linear projects (e.g., pipeline, transmission, transportation, and telecommunication), as well as the identification of major issues or constraints (e.g., sensitive land uses, military land, protected lands) that need to be considered.

Aspen has extensive experience in air quality assessment and climate change, including scores of air quality and climate change impact analyses and emissions inventories. Air quality analyses completed by Aspen staff include CEQA/NEPA analyses for large infrastructure, such as power plants, pipelines, transmission lines, rapid transit and airport projects, and large industrial sources and land development projects. Services include health risk assessments, stationary source permitting, and compliance audit evaluations during construction activities.

Vice President Jon Davidson is the Vice President in Aspen's Agoura Hills office. He is an environmental professional with more than 30 years of experience providing consulting services to government agencies and private clients. Mr. Davidson has served as a project manager for the environmental review of numerous projects, and has also managed several on-call environmental services contracts for government agencies.

Aspen helps governmental agencies in charge of siting and regulating energy infrastructure and the energy industry address immediate demands and meet future needs by combining our strong team management capabilities with expert interdisciplinary analysis of planning, environmental, engineering, and economic issues.

In addition, the staff has experience testifying and providing regulatory support services in electric, gas, water, air quality, and greenhouse gas assessment natural resource segments.
