AUDIOLOGY INCORPORATED ® was created to develop innovative products for the Audiology profession and for hearing-impaired individuals. The guiding principal of AI is that innovative changes in hearing tests are essential to provide the best service to patients and to move Audiology forward as a profession. Educational products include print materials designed to enhance understanding of hearing impairment, explain its effects on communication, and discuss treatments that are available for people with hearing loss. These communication products were guided by research that shows that verbal communication of important health information is not effective and even harmful. Hearing test products use automation and state-of-the-art technology to increase the accuracy and efficiency of hearing testing, and provide access to hearing services to the underserved hearing-impaired population.
