We are seeking a Senior Scientist, chemistry to join our team in La Jolla. This is a hands-on position with responsibility for the design, synthesis, and analysis of polymer based nanoparticle conjugates. The ideal candidate will have industrial experience in aspects of organic chemistry and polymer chemistry. The candidate is expected to be a strong team player, who enjoys scientific discovery and has the ability to communicate and collaborate in an interdisciplinary environment.

We are seeking an experienced in vivo pharmacologist to characterize in vivo properties of novel therapeutic nanoparticles that deliver nucleic acids (e.g. siRNA). Working with project leaders, the candidate will be responsible for contributing to the design and for the execution of in vivo animal studies including tumor model development, efficacy, mechanism of action, and pharmacokinetic PK /pharmacodynamics PD/ biomarker studies. Previous experience with oncology xenograft and orthotopic models in immune-compromised rodent models and intravenous dosing is required.
