Al NeSmith is managing partner of Benefits Advisory Group and has 20+ years experience in employee benefits and retirement planning. Previously, Al was Senior Vice President with Lincoln Financial Group specializing in employee benefits, retirement planning and executive planning. Al ’s responsibilities with Benefits Advisory Group include business development, client management, insurance company liaison, and client communications. Al is a series 7 registered representative, a long time Atlanta resident and a graduate of The University of Georgia. Hunter ’s specialties include planning for privately and publicly held businesses as well as high net worth individuals. Hunter co-founded Benefits Advisory Group in 2003 and his primary responsibilities are new business development and client management. Prior to joining NLEC, Hunter was with Northwestern Mutual where he began his insurance career in 1994. He was consistently a company sales leader and served as a Field Director mentoring new agents. Hunter is an Atlanta native and a member of the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting along with the American Society of Financial Service Professionals. He holds an MBA degree with emphasis in finance from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University and the CLU and ChFC designations from the American College.
