The City of Blue Ash is located in Southwest Ohio, in a prosperous tri-state region. We enjoy a well-balanced economy and quality of life due to decades of focused leadership and planning that have resulted in a sound residential and business climate. From the time Blue Ash was first incorporated in the mid 1950s, City leaders planned for Blue Ash to be a balanced community comprised of areas of residential, business, and public uses (about one-third of each). The innovative and aggressive approach to planning that blue Ash has practiced over the years has not only resulted in a well-balanced and attractive community, but also a city that has the financial resources to provide for the other critical operations of a municipality, such as police, fire, EMS, parks and recreation, street maintenance, etc. Blue Ash’s diverse business base, with no single dominant industry, has contributed to a healthy economy in Blue Ash which has endured varying business cycles. Blue Ash is considered the second largest economic force and office market in the region – second only to downtown Cincinnati. Procter & Gamble's Sharon Woods Technical Center. P&G has several facilities throughout Blue Ash & is Blue Ash's largest employer.
