Bobby Bridger's natural creativity in music and songwriting lends directly to the literary arts. He is an avid magazine writer, and edited and produced his own quarterly newspaper in the Austin area for 8 years titled " Hoka Hey! " with a distribution to 50 states and 30 countries worldwide.

In November 2008 Bobby Bridger, Nick Meagher, and London-based Qube Pictures released a four-disc DVD production of Bobby’s concert version of A Ballad of the West, featuring stellar musicians, John Inmon, Bob Livingston, Darcie Deville, and Steve Samuel. The concerts were filmed with four cameras and shot on location in May 2004 at the majestic T-Bone Ranch in Antonito, Colorado. Bridger and director Peter Wilson spent four years editing the footage.

July 18, 2013 record producers Bobby Bridger and John Inmon launched a Kickstarter campaign. With the generous contributions pledged by one-hundred-sixty-eight backers, on August 29th, the campaign successfully raised the budget Galey, Inmon, and Bridger established with Kickstarter to make a new Bobby Bridger recording. We are so very thankful to everyone who helped us with this important project. Of course we could not have done this without Erin Galey's (Brave Girl) invaluable assistance.

(1978-1993) After the Shakespeare and the Indians workshop in May 1982, Bobby Bridger visited Chris Sergel in Westport, Connecticut, where he was introduced to Quawpaw Indian, JR Mathews, who was visiting from Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mathews spearheaded a Tulsa organization called the American Indian Theater Company that was dedicated to developing Native American talent trained in the theatrical arts. Bobby was invited to join the Board of Directors of the American Indian Theater Company and began traveling to Tulsa regularly to assist JR's efforts.

Bobby Bridger also has appeared as a guest lecturer on numerous occasions, often using his storytelling and musical talents to teach. With the recent publication of his award-winning biography on Buffalo Bill , Bridger's notoriety as a Western Historian has grown nationally. Paired with a history of art and cultural education, his range of knowledge spans from explorations of indigenous peoples of Australia and North America to the mythology of the American West. Bridger is happy to provide lectures combined with performances, book signings, or workshops on any of these topics.
