Even before CMG Associates was founded, our principals were making their contributions felt: Mark Braverman, Ph.D., was among the founders of the Harvard University Psychological Trauma Center. Susan Braverman, MSW, LICSW, was a consultant with the corporate EAP at Digital Equipment Corporation who, with the help of Mark Braverman, developed the industry's first Corporate Trauma Intervention Protocol for Digital- a program that would serve as a model to other corporations. Bruce Cedar, Ed.D., was a leader in designing and implementing innovative EAPs for companies throughout the Northeast.We have accomplished a great deal in a short time. We have provided EAPs and violence prevention programs for Fortune 500 companies and state and Federal agencies. We have also been called in as experts in the wake of national and international crises. Most notably, we provided trauma teams for the San Francisco Earthquake in 1989, the Shootings at the Royal Oak, Mich. Post Office in 1991, Hurricanes Hugo (1989) and Andrew (1992), and the 1999 Earthquake in Turkey.
