Description

Penn Leavitt has been the Mine Manager since April 2011. Penn oversees and coordinates the daily operations of all mining, plant processing, and transportation of iron ore from the mine to CML's port. Prior to joining CML, Penn was a Resident Field Service Mechanic for Caterpillar, where he was responsible for fleet management, equipment maintenance and repair, and training. Penn also worked as the Mine Superintendent at Iron Mountain, for Gilbert Development Corporation in the 1980's and 1990's, which included the oversight of all mining, crushing, and shipment of iron ore from Iron Mountain.

Dale Gilbert has been the President and Chief Executive Officer of CML Metals since March 2010. Dale led CML's efforts in establishing operations at Iron Mountain, including mining, logistics, transportation, and design and construction of CML's concentrate plant. Prior to joining CML, Dale was the Vice President, President and Chief Executive Officer of Gilbert Development Corporation, a mining, earthwork, and utility company, operating throughout the western United States, for over 25 years.

Dan Crackel has been Technical Services Manager of CML since February 2012. Dan is responsible for mine engineering, geology, environmental oversight, and mineral analysis for CML's mining operations. Dan's responsibilities include daily surveying, mapping and grade control, exploration of satellite deposits and administering the evaluations, planning and permitting required to ensure the project is successful. Dan has over 30 years of experience in open pit and underground mining projects, mining operations, and design and exploration.
