Capital Associates, founded by Hugh D. Little in Cary, North Carolina in 1983, expanded to Greensboro, North Carolina in 1989 and Northern Virginia in 2004. Our philosophy is to treat our clients and partners as we would want to be treated. As a result, we provide superior service and expertise on every project. Since no two projects are ever alike, planning, design, financing, construction, marketing, and property management are carefully orchestrated to meet the specific needs of every situation.

Kandy joined Capital Associates in 2009 and brings more than 15 years of property management experience. She previously provided executive oversight for a regional portfolio of 18 commercial buildings in the San Francisco Bay Area. Kandy also has experience in multi-family management, both garden and high-rise developments. Kandy has managed numerous capital improvement projects and she attained the LEED Accredited Professional designation from the US Green Building Council.

Capital Associates began in 1983 as a full-service commercial real estate company. From offices in the Triangle area of North Carolina; Greensboro, North Carolina; and Northern Virginia, we provide a full complement of commercial real estate services, including land development, building development, brokerage, property management, and consulting services. We welcome opportunities to develop properties in other regions, and have developed properties in Florida and Texas.

Capital Associates has used over three-dozen different architects and general contractors to construct our projects. We have worked with many national architectural and engineering firms based in Atlanta, Dallas, Philadelphia, and Washington, as well as numerous highly qualified North Carolina firms. Working with you, we will pick the firms that are best suited to meet the exact needs of your project. As always, we will meet your budget and delivery schedule.

Capital Associates completed the final phase of the 86,000 square foot headquarters building for Epic Games in Cary, NC. Beginning in 2009, Capital worked with Epic to develop a state-of-the-art facility that includes a motion capture studio, data center, rock wall, and slide. The look and design of the building is unique to this area and a complement to the computer game culture at Epic. Epic Games is one of the most successful and dynamic companies in the gaming industry.
