Our purpose as designers are much like that of a dancer to a choreographer. The dancer is a tool of the choreographer. When there is good communication between the dancer and choreographer, the dancer is able to create the ideas and the vision, the choreographer wants to express to the audience. In like manner, the designer is a tool for the client, turning their ideas, visions, and needs into a plan that responds to their vision. The designer achieves this through interviews and ongoing discussions. It is only through this educational process that the designer can begin to work towards the goal of providing a creative and beautiful design solution that will be enjoyed by the homeowner for years. Throughout the design process, we remain mindful of our responsibility to ensure that all work is thoughtfully and honestly done. To consider all input and then guide the project to its successful conclusion.
