Description

ComputerUser was started over 25 years ago with one goal. "To provide information on the latest technology tools and trends". With this in mind we have provided quality award winning content. Now with the evolution of Web 2.0 the delivery of such content has changed how information is accessed and transferred. So now more than ever, our content is open to the public. To discuss, share, become and expert, etc. giving each article its importance and the author a significant following.

In the past, CSFWG has worked with a number of individual high school teachers and classrooms with creative writing workshops and contests. This year and as bi-annual event, we plan on extending the contest to cover all of El Paso and Teller counties. We also want to encourage the next generation of writers currently attending a local college or university with a separate writing contest. Both contest winners will receive a publishing contract in our upcoming anthology and a free copy of the book.

Colorado Springs Fiction Writer's Group (CSFWG) was founded in 1996 by Hollie Snider, Hank Snider, and John Irwin. Their goal was to create a serious critique group that went beyond "I liked it," or "This book is written in the same style as Steven King." Under their leadership, the small critique group grew into three regular critique groups. As a community service, CSFWG offered high school writing contests, some lectures on writing, and members taught at a local teen inmate facility.
