Engineering Sales Manager (Vermont) Reporting to the VP of Sales and Marketing, this high level position takes the lead role in developing business opportunities and booking sales for the engineering section of Concepts NREC. Duties and Responsibilities include preparing sales plans and goals, developing new markets, opportunities, and clients, preparing technical proposals, following up and closing sales.

Controls/Instrumentation-Engineer II (Vermont) We are seeking an experienced Controls/Instrumentation Engineer II. Reporting to the Laboratory Manager, this individual will be responsible for the control systems used at Concepts NREC. The individual will be responsible for the development of control systems for rotating test equipment and turbomachinery. The individual will carry out the specification, purchase, implementation and operation of state of the art test equipment and data acquisition systems.

Requirements for the position include effective communication with a big picture perspective and the ability to offer advice across all company business units. Highly developed teamwork skills and experience in a flexible, employee-empowered work environment are critical for success in this position. This position requires a creative, detail-oriented, self-starter who possesses both a positive outlook and a professional demeanor. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, CRM, and the Abode Desktop Publishing suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver, and Illustrator) is required.

Detailed understanding of the hydrodynamic behavior and structural integrity of centrifugal pumps is essential to meet competitive market needs. The student will learn the basic phenomena occurring in inlets, impellers, diffusers, volutes, and return channels. The entire development and design process from 1D to 3D viscous methods is taught with live examples while stressing velocity triangle optimization, cavitation, blade loading considerations, viscous flow analysis, and structural analysis.
