In 2000, Corporate Hartz, LLC was formed by the cumulative experience of its Founder and President, Jennifer Levine Hartz. Companies must be creative about involving the nonprofit sector and the government in their efforts to increase shareholder value. Increasingly, Corporate Social Responsibility requires full integration between business and community initiatives. Each engagement begins with a discovery process and executives agree on which business challenges will be addressed. Projects include: cost saving; legal compliance; sales and business development; attraction, development, and retention of diverse employees; product development, vendor relations; corporate reputation; and brand awareness. Second, analytical rigor and benchmarks are applied and options generated with specific cost/benefit targets. Next, Corporate Hartz, LLC guides executives to a decision and creates the strategies and/or programs selected, including processes and metrics. Finally, communications plans are developed and can be implemented.
